The Alpha Box is an evolving project based around the concept of 'Virtual
Reality Clubbing'. To elaborate, its basically a new way to listen
to djs/artists online. For many years, the Internet has provided
this same media to listeners with out the '3d world' environment.
Alpha Box is just the same as sites that allow you to check out a
live Dj or artist but combining this with the ability to interact
as an avatar and explore the club in 3D.
Alpha Box is built within a 'Game' called Second-Life
created by Linden Labs. Game is not really the correct explanation
but
that explains it best at this time. You must have Second-Life
installed on your computer (Linux, MAC or Windows) and an account
created(Free), before you can visit the 'Alpha Box'.

Our aim is to run a club that provides focus on new to the experienced.
From Djs to Producers, the club can be used as a new media recognition
in the world of electronic music.
In-Game object interaction and other means of interactivity, allow
Dj/Artists to promote their Labels/Sites/Music at live events.
From Web-links to In-Game promotion gear (t-shirts/Other) to
Providing web streams of live sessions out side of Second-Life.
